Election 2016

Things I'm learning from this election:
  • It's okay to wish harm on someone if you disagree with their politics.
  • A candidates memes will always be smarter, funnier and more direct than the candidate ever will be in real life.
  • People are getting used to being given poor choices. The phrase "lesser of two evils" keeps getting tossed around.
  • Both parties can be mean and nasty.
  • We're not learning about the consequences of attacking individuals instead of persuading them to think differently. (can this sentence be made clearer?)
  • The losing candidate's supporters will still be around after the election. That is a very important fact to remember.
